LFRC Lake Run 2016

Lakeland Family Resource Center invites you to participate in the 2016 Lake Run on Saturday, September 3rd, starting at 8a. 

The race is on rain or shine. 

All the proceeds benefit families in Washburn County.

Rice Lake Slow Pitch Softball CO-ED League

The Rice Lake Slow Pitch Softball CO-ED league starts August 9. Games are Tuesday and Thursday nights for four weeks and one week pod tournament. Roster and team fee $225.00 must be in by July 29th.

Bonifeast 2016

Bonifeast 2016 will be held on Sunday at St. Boniface Parish in Chetek. 

The day starts with an 11 AM Mass with a Charcoal Chicken Dinner from 11AM-2PM.

Cost is $9.00 for adults with children nine to five $5.00 and children four and under are free. 

Carry outs available. Plus a 50/50 Raffle, Quilt Sale And Quilt Raffle. Everyone is welcome.

Red Cedar Symphony @ the Veteran's Memorial Park Bandshell

The Red Cedar Symphony will play its free annual “pops” concert in the park on Tuesday, August 2nd at 7 p.m. at the bandshell in Veteran’s Memorial Park in Rice Lake. 

Once again they’ll be performing a buffet of popular pieces including medleys from “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Wicked,” “Star Wars,” and more!

Bring a lawn chair and a snack, and enjoy the breeze off the lake along with some terrific live music. It’s a great way to spend a summer evening, and admission is free.

WE’LL BE AT THE LUMBERJACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN HAYWARD THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY JULY 28TH-30TH. MORE THAN A HUNDRED COMPETITORS COMPETE FOR MORE THAN $50,000 IN PRIZE MONEY.




IT’S ONE OF THE LARGEST LUMBERJACK COMPETITION PURSES IN THE WORLD.

THURSDAY NIGHT IS MOUNTAIN DEW FAMILY NIGHT!
GENERAL ADMISSION IS ONLY $40 FOR TWO ADULTS AND FOUR CHILDREN.
HEAD OVER TO THE SBI PEPSI MOUNTAIN DEW TENT AREA AND ENJOY FREE GAMES AND WIN MERCHANDISE.

American Legion Burger Night

The American Legion Burger Night is on Wednesday from 5p-7p at the Rice Lake Veterans Center. 

Menu includes burgers, wings, shrimp and more. 

Bar opens at 4p daily. The public is welcome.

The Rice Lake Elk’s Lodge will host the Dean’s List on Wednesday from 6pm-9pm. The Summer Performance Benefits We Share Food Pantry. 

The Rice Lake Elks Lodge Banquet Hall is located at 36 East Eau Claire Street.

 No Admission Fee. 

Donations given to We Share Food Pantry-Cash or Non Perishable Food Products

Chetek Hydroflites waterski show team presents their 2016 show; the “Just Us League.

The Chetek Hydroflites shows are free family fun performed Thursdays and Sundays 1 mile east of Chetek on Lakeview Drive.

Volunteer opportunities are now available at the ReStore in Cameron. Thanks to the help of volunteers at the ReStore, Habitat for Humanity has more funds available to help build and renovate homes in Barron County.
