AG Schimel Announces More Than $3.5 Million For Safety Grants

Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel has announced more than $3.5 million in safety grants to 52 schools and school districts. 

Several school districts in western and northern Wisconsin will benefit from the grants including: 

Cumberland, $78,920; Elk Mound, $64,133; Glenwood City, $78,820; Ladysmith, $61,080;  and Solon Springs, $20,600.

The money will be used to enhance school security in response to recent mass shootings at schools across the United States.
