Disaster Loans for Victims of May 16th Tornado

Wisconsin businesses and residents affected by the tornado on May 16th can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.  
 
The declaration covers Barron and Rusk counties and the adjacent counties of Burnett, Chippewa, Dunn, Polk, Price, Saint Croix, Sawyer, Taylor and Washburn in Wisconsin. 
 
SBA Customer Service Representatives will be at the Disaster Loan Outreach Centers to issue loan applications, answer questions and help individuals complete their applications. 
 
The centers are located in Barron County at the Chetek Fire Department; and at the  Rusk County Government Center The SBA Center at the Chetek Fire Department will be open weekdays from 8am to 5pm thru Thursday June 22nd.   
 
At the Rusk County Government Center, the SBA Disaster center will be open weekdays from 8am to 430pm thru Thursday, June 22nd, and open this Saturday from 9am to 1pm.   
 
Loan applications can also be downloaded at ww.sba.gov/disaster. 
 
The filing deadline to submit applications for physical property damage is Aug. 11, 2017. 
 
The deadline for economic injury applications is March 12, 2018.
