Two men accused of trying to meet with undercover officers posing as teenagers have been charged with child sex crimes. Police say the two men, 42-year old Sanjeev Sewpersaud, of Eagan Minnesota, and 61-year old Lee Stokes of Cumberland, were caught in separate sex-sting operations in Barron County. Investigators says Sewpersaud messaged what he thought was a 16-year-old boy, and was arrested when he showed up for a meeting. In the other case, Stokes thought he was contacting a 15-year-old girl. He was also arrested when he showed up to meet the fake teen. Both men are due in court April 18. |
